The new Metro Plus Thibeault opens in Prévost

PRÉVOST, March 18, 2021 –  Frédéric and Martin Thibeault were thrilled this morning to inaugurate their new store located at 2989 Boulevard Curé-Labelle, in Prévost. This 31,425-square foot grocery store is the Thibeault family’s fifth store in the Laurentian region. The supermarket will be the central element of a new commercial complex developed by the Thibeault family, which will also include a Jean Coutu Health and Beauty store.

The new Metro Plus was designed to provide customers an enhanced, extremely enjoyable shopping experience. And they will not be the only ones to benefit from the new store: with the creation of 100 jobs in the industry, the entire Prévost community and surrounding area will see advantages as well.

“For the past 40 years, the Thibeault family has made it a point to contribute to the economic vitality of the communities it serves while providing the best service possible,” said Frédéric and Martin Thibeault. “The new store will deliver the same freshness, product diversity and high-quality services that the Metro Plus Thibeault stores have built their reputation on for decades.”

Fresher and more complete

Freshness, one of Metro’s top priorities, is clearly on display inside the store. The impressive produce department features local and seasonal products, fresh-cut fruit, flavoured water and a “veggie” zone with a selection of alternative products. The bakery has a wide variety of artisanal and local products, including from the celebrated Quebec-based Première Moisson.

Over a hundred ready-to-eat meals prepared by in-store chefs using fresh products are available every day in the “Fresh to Go” aisle. The store also features an Aki Sushi counter offering a delicious selection of high-end sushi. Customers can also enjoy tasty pizzas that are prepared and baked on site. The cheese and deli counters propose a wide variety of high-quality products.

In the butcher’s department, professionals prepare cuts to order, suggest products and offer tips on how to prepare and cook meats perfectly. At the fish counter, which includes a fish smoker, a team of professionals is at the ready to share advice and provide a wide range of fresh and delicious seafood products.

To satisfy all tastes and even better meet the needs of families on the lookout for the latest food trends, the Metro Plus Thibeault in Prévost offers a wider variety of local, international, gluten-free and organic products, many of which are found in the Organic & Well-being Market and its special boutique

section. The store also offers a spectacular choice—over 1,400—of microbrewery beers, as well as Quebec-made wines and large-sized, price-saving products.

After enjoying outstanding service in all departments, customers can pay for their purchases at one of the six self-service checkouts. They also have access to four charging stations for electric and hybrid vehicles.

The store’s co-owners, Frédéric and Martin Thibeault, and their 100 employees are proud of their new store and invite everyone nearby to stop in for a visit.
