Christian's Passion

Executive Vice President and Quebec Division Head

“I began my career very young, working alongside my father in the various businesses that he ran. I quickly realized that customer service was the career path that I wanted to take. I’m proud that I have been, since 1997, part of a company where many challenges and opportunities to develop are available to everyone. I myself worked my way up the ranks to become a Vice President and then an Executive Vice President at METRO. Having gained extensive previous experience as Purchasing Director and Director of Categories, METRO saw in me the qualities required to become part of its management team.”

François’s Passion

President, Jean Coutu Group

"As a teenager, I started as my father wanted and as my brothers had done before me: placing stock in the damp but impeccably clean basement of a small network pharmacy. As a student, I worked at the photo counter of one of our stores where I met some of the first artisans and builders of the organization. It was by observing the pharmacists going about their day-to-day activities that I caught the bug and decided to study pharmacy. I became a pharmacist in 1983. Since that day, I have always been committed to the needs of customers and the desire to serve them well seven days, seven nights and every weekend."
