Gatineau, April 27, 2023 - This morning, we celebrated the official opening of the new Super C Limbour, 102nd store of the Quebec chain. Since March 9, after only a few weeks of renovations, the store has opened its doors to consumers to allow them to take advantage of the Super C offer as soon as possible. Thanks to an investment of more than $3 million, the store on Saint-Louis Street employs 75 people, with the vast majority being Metro former employees, as well as about 30 new colleagues. At the helm of this team is Mr. Frédéric Leblanc, store manager.
"I am proud of the presence of the Super C banner in the Limbour sector," said Loïc Cloutier, Senior Vice President, Super C. "In order to allow our customers to quickly benefit from our offer and our low prices, we have reduced the closure period to a minimum in order to get to the heart of the work. Since then, the clientele has been there, we have had nothing but good comments, which confirms that we were very much expected by them."
To celebrate its arrival in the community, the Super C Limbour team also donated $5,000 to Moisson Outaouais, a long-time partner of METRO, notably through the recovery program of unsold products. The Executive Director of Moisson Outaouais, Armand Kayolo, was present to receive the donation in person.
Super C, the best quality-price ratio
The new team is ready to offer the community a wide variety of fresh products and groceries, adapted to local demand, at very competitive prices. And that's what Super C is known for: offering fresh and quality products at low prices. The Super C store in Limbour also offers meats prepared onsite by a team of experts, a wide variety of large-format products, many organic and natural products, a selection of craft beers and microbrews, as well as Première Moisson products.
In keeping with the evolving needs of our clientele, groceries can be purchased in the spacious aisles of the store, or online thanks to the click-and-collect option. In addition, 8 self-service checkouts have been installed, as in all Super C stores, to speed up and enhance the shopping experience.
In 2022, Super C was recognized by Protégez-Vous magazine for having the lowest-priced grocery basket in Quebec.
Leader in the discount store segment in Quebec, Super C operates a network of 102 stores and provides employment to more than 7,000 people. For more information, visit superc.ca. For more information, visit superc.ca.
