After extensive renovations, Metro Lloyd Manor reopens its doors on January 11

Toronto, ON, January 11, 2018 – Metro Lloyd Manor will reopen its doors on Thursday, January 11 to the Etobicoke community after undergoing extensive renovations, and upgrades to products and services. The store is located at 201 Lloyd Manor Road, Etobicoke, and will remain open for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Featuring a brand-new Starbucks counter; organic meats and produce; fresh, sustainable seafood with expert advice; made-to-order artisan pizza; an on-site sushi chef; fresh-made-in-store salads, juices, cakes and single-serve pastries; catering and floral design services; a wide assortment of health and wellness products; specialty and imported grocery items; and so much more, Metro Lloyd Manor is a one-stop community destination for all fresh and local needs.

“Our goal is to offer our customers a stress-free, enjoyable grocery shopping experience, so the upgrades we’ve made to our products and services are sure to resonate with the people who live and work in the area,” says Joe Fusco, Senior Vice President, Metro. “Our Fresh2Go counter has more readymade, convenient options for on-the-go customers; we’ve opened up our meat counter to showcase the butchers at work, who can offer expert advice; and we’ve improved our deli selection with local meats and fine cheese.”

Local items featured at Metro Lloyd Manor include organic fresh chicken from Yorkshire Valley Farms, baked goods from Dimpflmeier, prepared foods from Sabatini Gourmet Foods and many more.

As part of its multi-pronged community investment strategy, Metro will continue to give back to Etobicoke on a neighbourhood level. On January 12, 2018, alongside Deputy Mayor Stephen Holyday, Metro’s Senior Director, Operations – West, Dave Dinning, will present three local school representatives with $1,000 grants as part of Metro’s Green Apple School Program. Every year, the program awards 500 $1,000 grants to schools across Ontario to fund healthy eating initiatives that encourage the increased consumption of fruits and vegetables among children and youth.
