Metro and AIR MILES Extend Partnership; Offering Metro Customers the Benefits of Loyalty
 

TORONTO, January 15, 2015 - Metro Inc., a leader in the food and pharmaceutical sectors in Quebec and Ontario, and LoyaltyOne, Co., owner and operator of the AIR MILES® Reward Program, have signed a new multi-year agreement that extends their partnership for the Ontario market, excluding Thunder Bay. Metro customers will continue to earn AIR MILES reward miles in Ontario and take advantage of the program’s broad reward portfolio, including the AIR MILES Cash feature.

With Ontario’s second largest grocery retail market share, Metro has been a Sponsor in the AIR MILES Reward Program since 1998. Metro stores have been the number one destination for AIR MILES Cash redemptions in Ontario since the introduction of this feature in 2012.
