Mr. Boivin is President and Chief Executive Officer of Claridge Inc., a private investment firm. He is also a member of the board of directors of the National Bank of Canada and the CH Group Inc., which manages the activities of the Club de Hockey Canadien, Inc., the Bell Centre, evenko and L’Équipe Spectra Inc. From 2013 to 2020, he was a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited. Since 2017, he has been involved in the development of artificial intelligence in Quebec and Canada. From 2004 to 2018, he was a board member and the Chairman, from 2006 to 2012, of the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation. He studied Commerce at McGill University. Mr. Boivin was named Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Québec in 2017. In 2009, the Université de Montréal awarded him an honorary Doctorate and he was appointed Officer of the Order of Canada.
