Témiscouata‑sur‑le‑Lac, March 12, 2026 - After several weeks of construction, the 119th Super C store officially opened its doors this morning in the heart of Témiscouata‑sur‑le‑Lac. Thanks to an investment of more than $6.6 million, the new 28,000‑square‑foot store employs 110 people, many having worked at Metro before, and will be led by Mr. Vincent Guay, who will remain in his position as store manager.
“We are already well established in the community, and the transition from Metro to Super C is happening quite naturally. As store manager, I want to continue the work we have already begun with the people here. The relationships we have built over the years are valuable, and it’s important for me to keep strengthening them,” says Vincent Guay, store manager of Super C Témiscouata. “Having lived in the region for several years, I know how essential a human approach and close relationships with our customers, suppliers, and team are to our success. These values guide our daily decisions and reinforce the commitment we have to the community we serve.”
Super C, the Best Quality‑Price Ratio
The new team is ready to offer the community a wide variety of fresh products and groceries, adapted to local demand, at always great prices – a true Super C trademark. The store also offers a wide variety of fresh meat prepared onsite by a team of experts, a sushi counter, a variety of organic and natural products, a selection of craft beers and microbrews, and Première Moisson products, also part of the larger METRO family.
Grocery Shopping in Store or Online
The new store offers a simple and efficient shopping experience in a modern and welcoming environment. The store features spacious aisles and 10 self‑checkout stations. Customers can also order groceries online at superc.ca for pickup or delivery, all at the same low prices as in store.
“The opening of our Témiscouata‑sur‑le‑Lac store is part of a series of strategic expansions that strengthen our position as Quebec’s leading discount retailer,” says Anna Kolakowski, Senior Vice President, Super C. “Our priority remains the same: to offer consumers quality products at competitive prices, while providing a simple, efficient shopping experience focused on our three guarantees — Always Fresh, Always in Stock, and Always Great Prices.”
To celebrate this major investment in the community, Super C also presented a $5,000 cheque to Moisson Sud‑Ouest, a long‑time partner, notably through our food recovery program One More Bite.
This new store is part of Super C's expansion strategy, to enable even more Quebecers to benefit from its offer of quality products at low prices, every day.
Super C is part of the Moi rewards program, which enables customers of Super C, Metro, Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson to save even more by accumulating points in nearly 900 stores and redeeming them instantly at the checkout to save more on their everyday essentials.
Super C Témiscouata‑sur‑le‑Lac is open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
