An investment of over $8.3 million
MONTREAL, May 15, 2025 – Super C continues its momentum with the opening of its brand-new store located on De Lorimier Avenue in Montréal. This marks the fourth new store inaugurated since the beginning of the company’s financial year, with at least two more planned by year-end.
Thanks to an investment of $8.3 million, this new 25,000 square foot store becomes the 114th Super C in Québec. This new discount store, the 16th on the Island of Montréal, was highly anticipated in the neighborhood. It offers all the products that have built the banner’s reputation: fresh fruits and vegetables, meats prepared on-site by our expert butchers, major national and private-label brands, a wide range of organic and natural products, a selection of craft and microbrewery beers, Première Moisson products, and a growing assortment of local items. The opening of the Super C De Lorimier will create 80 jobs.
This new store is part of Super C's expansion strategy, to enable even more Quebecers to benefit from its offer of quality products at low prices, every day.
To celebrate this major investment in the community, Super C also presented a $5,000 cheque to Moisson Montréal, a long-time partner, notably through our food recovery program One More Bite.
Grocery shopping in store or online
The Super C banner, which was recognized as Quebec's leading discount retailer in terms of customer experience by the WOW Léger 2024 study, opens its doors in a building located at 1295 Avenue De Lorimier (corner Ste-Catherine). In keeping with the evolving needs of consumers, customers can shop in the spacious aisles of the store or online through the click and collect option and home delivery. In addition, self-serve checkouts have been installed, as in all Super C stores, to speed up and improve customer service.
