May 11, 2016 - Metro Inc. Donates $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to Help Fort McMurray

Montreal, May 11, 2016 -  Today, Metro Inc. announced that it will donate $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to assist those affected by the devastating wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The donation will enable the Canadian Red Cross to help thousands of Fort McMurray residents, by providing relief in the form of emergency food, clothing, shelter, personal services and other necessities that assist with recovery and resiliency.

Although Metro does not operate in Alberta, it was important for the Company to make a contribution which will help the communities devastated by this exceptional natural disaster.
