Mr. Goodman is Lead Independent Director, Chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Compensation and Human Resources Committee of Northland Power Inc., and is a director, and member of the Audit and Finance and Human Resources and Compensation Committees of Gildan Activewear Inc. He spent his business career at PwC until his retirement in 2011 where, from 1998 to 2011, he was Managing Partner of various business units in Canada and for the Americas and held global leadership roles in the services and transportation industry sectors. Mr. Goodman is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant and a graduate of McGill University. He is a Fellow of theOrder of Professional Chartered Accountants of Québec. He is a recipient of the Governor General of Canada’s Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers and is a member of the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame. He is also a graduate of the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
