Field Manager

"I started working at Metro thirty-six years ago as a part-time clerk at store level. From starting as a part-time employee, I saw that the people I was working with enjoyed what they were doing and were often eager to teach me the business. After holding a number of positions I am proud to say that I am now a Field Manager for the Human Resources department at Metro. I am proud to work for Metro, because it has taught me a lot about confidence and organizational culture. I have great mentors who are willing to always teach me how to grow more as an individual. We are a group of people that strive to do the best we can everyday for ourselves, our co-workers, and most of all, our customers!"

Health and Safety Manager - East

“I started working at Metro eighteen years ago as an Inventory Coordinator. After holding a variety of positions, I am now a Health and Safety Manager for the East side of Toronto. One of my biggest accomplishments at Metro is developing strategies and plans to reduce the number of accidents that occur in the workplace, which has been a great success! I am proud to work at Metro, because the company loves to give back to the community. Metro has been involved in important programs such as, the Green Apple School and Fuel for Kids program. The satisfaction and pride that comes from helping others can feel very rewarding! ”
